Vintage 60s 9ct yellow gold Thai Princess natural sapphire cluster ring

Thai Princess or No Pa Kao rings are a long-standing part of the Southeast Asian tradition and were made popular in the western culture in the 40s -50s as they were often brought back as souvenirs for their sweethearts by soldiers on tour in Thailand after WW2 as a strikingly eye-catching cocktail ring.
This one in particular originated in the 1960s is a beautiful representation of elegance, crafted in 9ct gold with one dark blue sapphire in the center with surrounded by a delicate cluster of smaller sapphires, forming a stunning Thai princess sweetheart design.
